About our Work
Medical animation serves at the core of our work and our scientific storytelling and drug visualization help form the foundation of a pharmaceutical marketing campaign. We have produced work for a variety of pharmaceutical companies, ranging from small pharma and biotech companies, to huge global pharmaceutical giants.
We have also worked extensively in the areas of consumer health, medical devices and diagnostics tests, animal health, in addition to collaborating with the film industry to develop various documentaries that can be seen in IMAX theatres globally.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented
Senior Account Executive
to join the Sales & Marketing team.
This role will report to the Account Director within the team.
Suppored by the Account Dirctor, the Senior Executive will lead the day-to-day communication and smooth running within this department, which is specifically dedicated to all business with our Agency of Record (AoR) partners. The AoR will work with key pharmaceutical and biotech companies as the end client.
The role is largely reactive, responding to inbound projects requests and RFPs from AoR partners, whilst also mainintaining relationships with existing partners to generate repeat business. They will provide appropriate communication and updates on any developments, to the direct-to-client internal teams.
Responsibilities of a Senior Account Executive:
Provide day-to-day support to the Sales & Marketing team, specialising in all business with our Agency of Record (AoR) partners.
Understand the market, our business (including products) and our customer proposition
Drives growth for the agency and partnerships team by identifying new business opportunities
Proactively responds to campaign & medical marketing news
Maintains account mapping by brand/product
Management of key databases and initiatives (CRM Salesforce and GoogleDocs)
Builds and maintains relationships with existing AoR partners for potential projects
Leads RFI/RFP presentation preparation
Confidently presents capabilities presentation to new and existing clients on a regular basis
Qualify and convert leads for potential future projects
Supports the AD with the targeted strategy for the financial year
Collaborate with appropriate internal staff when needed, based on category and tactical experience, to participate in internal brainstorm meetings in preparation for new business pitches. Solicit help and provide assignments to colleagues when assistance is needed
Provides support on kick-off and existing project calls
Once new business projects are secured and approved by clients, transition project management and relationships to relevant team for execution
Effectively communicates sideways and upwards to relevant team members and other departments where necessary
Acts as a mentor for AE where necessary
Essential Skills or Qualifications
Candidates must have a life sciences BSc and/or MSc with a desire to develop their careers in medical communications
~1-2 years' new business in a relevant science field or experience at another medical communications agency at AE or SAE level
Strong communicator both written and verbally with a commercially driven mindset
Has excellent organizational and time management skills, and can manage workload effectively
A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient at Microsoft Suite
Desirable Skills or Qualifications
Confident presenting over Teams and in person
Previous experience with a CRM platform i.e. Salesforce
Previous experience using InDesign and/or PowerPoint to make presentations
An interest in B2B sales & marketing
Ability to be solutions driven
Showing willingness and pro-activity to drive new business

Working Hours
Our standard working hours are Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00 (35 hours per week plus one hour unpaid lunch break per day). Unless otherwise specified, these will be the contracted hours for the role.
