The role we are looking to hire is a Senior Account Manager that will be seconded directly to one of our biggest clients. You will be at the heart of a busy B2B marketing team, working on successful engagement marketing campaigns to help the business.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your projects, with oversight from other team members. You will be supporting an existing team across a set of existing deliverables and BAU campaigns; you will need to be comfortable in supporting and executing by direction.
The role focuses on managing the quarterly large customer (250+ employees) newsletter and is responsible for creating compelling communications that build engagement with the brand. This role also involves executing an engagement plan for our top large business accounts and will require the co-ordination, management and production of communications at key moments of time across the year. This is a crucial area since effectively engaging our top business accounts drives significant long-term revenue and increased loyalty.
Please note this a hybrid role which for us means a mix of working from home and the clients London office. This is a 10 month contract role and we need someone to start asap.
Requirements
You'll be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders across the business and leading the delivery of communications via a range of channels, including email, sales and DM. Some communications will be written and produced in-house, whilst others will be briefed through external agencies, like TMW, for which you will be responsible for accessing.
You'll produce weekly updates, content calendars for the different segments of the customer base and ensure all proposals contain actionable insights, clear progress and robust delivery plans.
You need to have the right character, diligence and can-do approach to build strong stakeholder relationships. You don't need to know everything from the start, but you do have to be motivated to learn and develop as an account handler. You will also need to be confident leading projects independently and be responsive to internal requests and challenging timelines.
