Senior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our friendly team providing accountancy to a number of clients across various business sectors.

Relevant experience to include:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal and corporate taxation. Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues. Review of less senior staff work and completion for client. Management accounts. Having a portfolio of self-assessment & partnership tax returns to complete each year. Supporting and guiding less experienced staff. Answer ad hoc client queries via telephone/email. Experience of Iris, Xero, Quick Books, Sage. Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines. Friendly, confident manner and be happy to work as part of a team as well as alone.
The role is office based.

The candidate must be able to work under time pressure and unsupervised. The successful candidate will require more than ten years relevant working experience.

Salary to be advised, depending on experience.
