Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our friendly team providing accountancy to a number of clients across various business sectors.
Brief
Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues. Review of junior accounts staff work and completion for client. Management accounts. Having a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns to complete each year. Supporting and guiding junior staff. Answer ad hoc client queries via telephone/email.
Requirements for the role
Experience of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal and corporate taxation. Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines. Friendly and confident manner. Able to work as part of a team and alone. Must be able to work to tight deadlines and unsupervised. Must have 5 years experience within an Accountancy practice.
