You are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of your team and reporting to your Client Manager by supporting team members both above and below you in your team structure as required.
Your leadership responsibilities are as follows:
Manage your operational team and their workloads wherever they are based
Effective work allocation enabling capacity to be identified and productivity maximised
Communicate with your Peers in other teams
In the event work demand exceeds supply - step in and support the team
Review operations processes, identify and implement process improvements and standardisation
Ensure all the business processes are documented, reviewed regularly and are being adopted across all offices by appropriate team members
Ensure file notes regarding clients are updated in a timely manner
Support management in the accurate production of budgets
Keep clear records to provide accurate Management Information and reporting to management
Continuously review the client experience/journey process to identify and implement improvements
Performance management - ensure development plans are in place and performance is managed appropriately within your team
Your day-to-day accounting duties are as follows:
Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts work prepared by your accountants
Ensure bookkeeping and payroll data is accurate, and records are maintained correctly
Review year end accounts and management accounts
Review financial information for inconsistencies
The preparation of year end accounts and management accounts
Ensuring budgets are being met and measuring profitability.
Analyse bookkeeping & management accounts process to ensure the efficiency of all jobs.
Preparation of accounts and tax returns
Salary is DOE.

Pay: 35,000.00-46,500.00 per year
