Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Manage financial accounting tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management. Mentor junior accountants, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making processes. Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance.

Skills

Proficient in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of financial services and financial management principles. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to mentor and develop junior staff effectively. Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial accounting practices. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
