is currently seeking an experienced

Senior Accountant

to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a hands-on role offering a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and developing strong relationships with clients. The practice offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking part-time work or school-hour flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients Attend and lead client meetings with professionalism and confidence Provide tailored tax advice and planning support Prepare year-end accounts and corporation tax returns (CT600) for limited companies Consider personal tax implications when preparing company accounts Review self-assessment tax returns, VAT returns, and bookkeeping completed by junior staff Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance

What We're Looking For:

Experience working within an accountancy practice (minimum 3 years required) Ideally AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) Proficient in using accountancy software -

experience with IRIS Elements is an advantage

Strong IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Confident in client-facing situations and reviewing the work of others A proactive and organised professional with strong communication skills

Salary:

Up to 40,000 Per Annum (Dependent on Experience)
