As Concilio's Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in shaping Concilio's path towards becoming a market leader in hospitality tech. You will help manage the overall financial health of the company in order to ensure our continued success and growth. As a result, you will participate in management meetings and decision making as a result of your reporting and input.

Responsibilities of this Role

Our Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with the CEO in the following areas:

Full bookkeeping functions, including but not limited to:

Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Billing/Invoicing Bank transactions including account reconciliations Administer timely payroll Cash flow management Month-end/Year-end closing and journal entries Investigate accounting irregularities Work with our Project Managers on project budgets, invoicing, and forecast Ensure compliance with GAAP principles New account set up and closing in QuickBooks, as needed
Timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis

Monitor budget vs forecast vs actuals - prepare variance analysis Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for CEO and Board of Directors Analyze project budgets and provide analysis of deviations Cash flow reports -- actuals and projected Compile reconciliations and analysis for Balance Sheet items
Liaise with Concilio's CPA firm

Timely filing of annual tax returns and/or extensions Facilitate communication regarding federal, state, and local tax compliance and correspondence received from the authorities
Strategy

Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and inform the CEO Assist in creating strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience Recent hands-on experience with QuickBooks Advanced experience with MS Office applications, including Excel Experience with budget and business plan development Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations Superior arithmetic and mathematical skills Strong knowledge of the SaaS products or tech industry (hospitality experience is a plus) Experience in cost accounting is a plus Experience in US GAAP is a plus
