Key Responsibilities
Practice Management
Support the Director with operations of the accountancy practice
Help, support, and allocate workloads across the team
Motivate and support colleagues in delivering excellent client service
Maintain client satisfaction through timely, accurate delivery and communication
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Accountancy & Compliance
Prepare and review:
Year-end
statutory accounts
Self-assessment tax returns
Corporation tax returns
Finance director full service
Payroll
Liaise directly with clients regarding queries, deadlines, and updates
Ensure all filings are completed accurately and on time
Provide ad hoc support on bookkeeping or client accounting tasks when needed
Skills & Experience Required
Full ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification
Experience preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of clients
Working knowledge of
property tax
preferred
Previous experience in a
practice environment
Confident assisting a small team and reviewing staff work
Proficient with
Xero
,
TaxCalc
and ideally other cloud-based systems
Management experience within an accountancy practice, ideally delivering similar services.
Exceptional client skills with proven experience of helping clients' businesses to grow and growing a portfolio
Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal--with the ability to build trusted client relationships
