As a small but quickly growing ambitious accountancy practice, we are searching for a Senior Accountant with an entrepreneurial spirit and an appetite to work in an environment where every day offers something different, whether that is a different client to meet or problem to solve, no 2 days are the same.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a wide ranging portfolio of clients, whilst having a valuable input into the strategic future of the business.

Duties

- Preparation/Review of statutory financial statements and reports

- Client management accounts preparation/review

- Client cash flow forecasting

- Mentor, support and train junior members of the team

- Maintain and build client relationships

- Liaise with clients and HMRC to resolve queries

- Business development

Experience

- Professionally qualified accountant or QBE

- Previous experience in a similar role

- The ability to grow and nurture client relationships

- Deadline driven, pro-active with a can do approach

- Experience using accounting software, Xero in particular

- Great attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 36,000.00-43,000.00 per year
