Senior Accountant

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting our team, managing workflows, and acting as a trusted point of contact for clients and colleagues alike.

Customer Service

Ensure the team adheres to the

Deliver an excellent level of customer service to clients and colleagues Work towards company goals and targets Promote and represent the company at the highest professional level

Management & Leadership

Review job stages and workflows, ensuring the team is prepared for upcoming work Organise staff cover and manage workloads effectively Ensure work is completed within allocated timeframes and deadlines Act as first-line support for client issues and complaints, contacting clients directly to resolve matters Produce

month-end reports

for the Accountants, including performance statistics and reporting leavers or closures for the Operations Director Mentor, motivate, and develop Accountants, supporting their professional growth Share positive client feedback with the Operations Director

Technical Training & Support

Proactively research tax changes and legislation, sharing updates with the team Identify training needs and support ongoing development Deliver training and technical guidance to Accountants Act as the first point of contact for Sales queries (e.g. IR35 contract reviews and technical client questions) Contribute to business projects as required Promote the company through forum posts, articles, LinkedIn, and industry events

Pay: 39,500.00-52,000.00 per year

Experience:

Client Accountant: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
