Senior Accountant

to join their close-knit and friendly team.


The Role



As Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio and deliver high-quality accounting services with accuracy, clarity, and excellent client care. You'll play a key role within the business, helping clients make informed decisions while supporting and mentoring colleagues as the practice continues to grow.


Key Responsibilities include:



Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Producing corporation tax and personal tax returns Preparing management accounts and cashflow forecasts Building strong client relationships and providing clear, actionable financial insights Ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes and budgets Reviewing and supporting the work of other team members Identifying opportunities for client development and contributing to business growth Supporting a culture of continuous learning and improvement

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills, commercial understanding, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.


You will be:



Commercially minded, able to connect financial data with business operations Analytical, organised, and detail-oriented A confident communicator who can explain financial information clearly Supportive and collaborative, with a natural mentoring style Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Committed to integrity, accountability, and high professional standards

Qualifications & Experience:



3+ years' experience in an accounting or finance role ACCA or ACA qualified Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, TaxCalc, Excel, and Microsoft Office Solid understanding of statutory accounts, tax (personal & corporation), VAT, and management accounts Eligible to work in the UK without restriction
