Senior Accountant

Salary: 40,000+ based on a 39 hour week

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns for a varied client base.

Provide expert advice on accounting standards, compliance, and business planning.

Lead and review the work of junior team members, offering coaching and mentoring where required.

Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and timely delivery of work.

Contribute to process improvements and the development of firm-wide best practices.

Liaise with HMRC, and other regulatory bodies as required

Requirements

5 years post qualification experience or equivalent ACCA/ACA

Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with Quickbooks, Xero and Sage, Iris

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Able to work well as part of a team and independently
