We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger to join our friendly team. This is your chance to make a real difference to people's lives.

What will you be doing?

The Senior Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger will be responsible for all sales ledger management ensuring that transactions are allocated and reconciled accurately and promptly in line with agreed policies and processes. The post holder will support the accounts receivable processes to ensure receipts are allocated timely and in line with client agreements and are required to solve routine problems and be a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.


The individual will make recommendations for continuous improvements to ways of working or processes and may deputise for the manager as needed.

About you

You will be studying towards, or be willing to study towards a foundation qualification in accounting eg AAT.
Experience and competence in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) with a willingness to learn further IT packages as required
Experience of, and competence in, using a database and accurate data inputting
Sales Ledger and accounts receivable experience in a fast paced environment where you have processed high volumes of transactions
Knowledge and experience using computerised accounting systems (we use Access Dimensions but can cross train)
Experience of dealing with customer/client and other stakeholder queries by 'phone or over Teams
