Senior Administrator
to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in NHS primary care, ideally with strong working knowledge of
EMIS, Docman, QOF and recall systems
. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with excellent organisational and leadership skills.

The Wilson Practice is a friendly, mutually supportive and happy 2 Partner, twelve Associate GP Partnership, caring for 17,500 patients in a beautiful part of Hampshire. We have recently strengthened our structure to provide additional support for our growing practice.

How we work...
We run a total triage system using Accurx on our EMIS Web clinical system. Our triage team includes GPs, ANPs, ACPs and a Paramedic, with a nurse-led Minor Injuries Service in our well-equipped Treatment Room. Nursing home ward rounds are supported by a dedicated ACP and GP Partners. Our strong Admin Team manages incoming Accurx messages and GP admin workload. We are fully engaged with our Primary Care Network, which provides Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, MIND workers and more.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support the administration team in delivering high-quality, efficient services.
Support policy and procedure review, ensuring admin and reception processes are current and effective.
Assist the management team with practice reporting, development planning, and delivery of QOF targets.
Act as a key point of contact for external agencies such as police, solicitors, and DVLA.
Provide initial guidance to patients wishing to raise concerns or complaints.
Act as building fire marshal, maintaining evacuation and visitor records.
Required Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a GP surgery or NHS primary care administration.
Knowledge of EMIS, Docman, QOF and recall systems (advantageous).
Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
