You will be undertaking work, which is confidential, demanding and at times challenging but always rewarding which requires a sensitive and flexible approach. Working in a team of eight you will be the front line of the administration within the company.
Your duties will involve everything from maintaining and monitoring the company's equipment and machine fleet, dealing with everyday orders and communication between site workers, liaising with the team and carrying out internal reviews on the companies' procedures and processes through to assisting with general HR duties.
You will therefore need proven administrative experience; to be highly motivated; able to work and communicate under pressure; be proficient in Excel and Word; have fantastic organisation skills with great attention to detail; be able to approach tasks with confidence and clarity; using your own initiative and most importantly be a team player.
Job Purpose:
To develop and implement a comprehensive, effective, and efficient administrative support team to meet business requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
To lead and support the administrative team to ensure that it runs smoothly and effectively.
Liaising with team members and site operatives within the company to coordinate project related orders.
To attend department meetings and communicate/delegate any actions to the team.
Attending management meetings with all office-based members including Commercial, HR, Accounts and the company Director.
Processing of orders, checking of delivery notes/ chasing deliveries, liaising with site, checking off invoices and chasing for credits if required.
Assisting HR with general duties such as liaising with employees about any employment law changes, dealing with holiday requests, issuing contracts and new starter forms.
Carrying out internal reviews to ensure the administrate side of the company is running effectively and efficiently.
Dealing with the ongoing maintenance and management of the company's equipment, including lifting, calibration, fire, and the machine fleet. Ensuring deadlines for inspections are met and carried out to the correct standards.
Drivers Licence required due to the office location.
