The Role & person
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Centre for Developmental and Complex Trauma (CDCT) to recruit to the post of Course Administrator for Postgraduate Programmes and Conference administrator. This is a senior administrative position
The post holder will be a key member of the thriving and supportive that sits within the Academic part of the Education, Research and Training unit. The overarching aims of the CDCT are to improve outcomes for populations who have been subject to repeated adverse experiences and traumatic events. The CDCT have a growing portfolio of research, CPD and post graduate courses as well as hosting an establishing international conferencing programme.
The role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our postgraduate course programme, run in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences, University of Buckingham, working closely with the CDCT and University team to ensure the smooth running of our courses. The post holder will also support with the development and running of our international conference programme, including liaising with international speakers and overseeing the IT aspects of conference events. The post holder will be highly motivated, with strong organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines. Knowledge of TEAMs, ZOOM webinar and Microsoft packages as well as the ability to liaise with individuals across the academic spectrum as key requirements. The ability to manage workloads effectively and know when to escalate conflicting priorities are also required skills.
