WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?
Operational Mastery:
Oversee the smooth running of administrative processes, ensuring all educational activities are efficiently supported.
Course and Programme Support:
Collaborate with educators and management to review and enhance course materials, ensuring all educational programs meet the needs of students and align with AEP and Higher Education objectives.
Administrative Excellence
: Maintain organised and up-to-date records for student data, course schedules and performance reports.
Professional Development Support:
Stay informed about industry trends, educational practices, and new technologies to help shape administrative strategies that support staff and students effectively.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with academic staff, management and external stakeholders to ensure administrative systems align with curriculum needs and evolving educational standards.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with fellow senior administrators and leadership to ensure departmental success and student outcomes, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team culture.
Adaptability & Innovation:
Be flexible in supporting changing student needs and curriculum demands, bringing fresh ideas to improve administrative efficiency.
Additional Duties:
Take on any other tasks or responsibilities as needed to ensure the department's goals are met, contributing to the overall success of AEP and Higher Education Institute.
WHAT BACKGROUND DO I NEED TO HAVE?
Educated to A Level standard, or equivalent level 3 qualification such as a Level 3 NVQ, or level 3 national diploma or relevant work experience evidencing the skills and ability to undertake the role.
Minimum of grade C/4 in Mathematics and English at GCSE or equivalent.
Bachelors degree in School or Business Administration/Management is desirable.
Experience working in an educational setting, ideally within higher education setting, alternative provision, SEND or pastoral-focused environments.
