What you'll be doing

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our actuarial data capabilities. You'll lead the development of robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures that underpin our analytical work, ensuring they're built to last and ready to evolve. Working closely with the Head of Analytics Engineering, you'll help define and deliver the team's strategy, while also mentoring junior engineers and supporting their growth.

You'll bring a strong technical foundation in Python, SQL and DevOps practices, and you'll be comfortable navigating the Azure ecosystem. Your work will span everything from maintaining CI/CD pipelines to developing reusable Azure modules that enhance our automation and insight delivery. You'll also be a key voice in technical forums and design discussions, representing the actuarial engineering perspective and championing simplicity and effectiveness in everything we build.

Collaboration will be at the heart of your role. You'll work hand-in-hand with actuarial SMEs, product teams and fellow engineers to deliver pragmatic solutions to real business challenges. You'll help foster a culture of knowledge sharing, inclusivity and innovation, ensuring our team continues to thrive and deliver value across the business.

We welcome everyone wholeheartedly

We've got a truly diverse, genuinely inclusive work environment. We comfortably and confidently bring our whole selves to work, because we know we'll be respected, valued and accepted whoever we are. Our Employee Resource groups are safe spaces for people to share their experiences, aspirations and suggestions about how we do things.
