Because of demand and growth within the Development team we are looking for an Automation Developer. You will work on workflow applications developed using the Appian Platform that provide optimization opportunities and a strategic edge for our business. You will also need be comfortable working in a dynamic DevOps/Agile environment.

Reporting to the Development Team Lead, you will collaborate on requirements, produce appropriate software designs, create development tasks, and work with the team to implement the solution. In doing so you will find yourself working with Product Owners, Architecture, QA and Release Management. In addition to having a technical background you must also have experience and track-record of working on enterprise-level applications.

You Will:

• Contribute to technical solutions from design through to code level,
• Ensuring support for the application continues without affecting business,
• Provide insight and direction to the evolution of the application from a technology perspective,
• Provide regular progress updates to, and work with, the Product Owner and Scrum Manager to ensure the management of any delivery issues,
• Guide projects to meet important milestones and overcome challenges,
• Have a desire to remain an expert in current technologies.

Qualifications
You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Appian Platform,
• 3+ years of experience in RAD, BPMS or Low-Code Development Platforms,
• Hands-on experience using JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, HTML5, XML, and JSON,
• Background in user experience, UI design,
• Experience architecting, developing and shipping scalable systems in an agile environment,
• Experience with MySQL or PostgresSQL

Preferred:

• Accounting or financial services technical experience,
• Appian\'s Associate Developer and/or Senior Developer Certifications
