Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join our very small team. Based in Battersea, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual systems. Much of the work will be carried out at client sites, typically in London and the south east.
Principal Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and provide tailored solutions.
Contribute to the design and specification of audio, video, conferencing and streaming systems
Assemble equipment racks prior to deployment
Install cables on site, including speakers, data, audio, video and others
Install equipment on site, including speakers, screens, cameras etc
Program and commission AV equipment on site
Fault finding and repairs
Prepare support documentation
Support live events by assisting the Events Manager from time to time
Requirements
Proven experience as an Audio Visual Engineer .
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles.
Familiarity with AV equipment, including audio, video, video conferencing and streaming, LED displays
Ability to use tools effectively and general workshop skillls
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Professional and friendly personality, ability to build relationships with colleagues and cllients.
A CSCS or ECS card

The person we are seeking will be an instictive engineer - curious to know how things work and keen to understand every new technology. You will be very hands-on, and not afraid to get those hands dirty. Depending on the project, you might be working alone or with others; it is vital that you are able to work as a team player.
You will often be working in historic and architecturally sensitive buildings where an understanding and appreciation of the importance of the heritage is crucial.
You will need an up to date UK driving license.
The salary will depend on your experience, but will not be less than 40,000.
