Location: Edinburgh or Bristol (hybrid)

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol or Edinburgh. We\'re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. .

Computershare have a fantastic opportunity to join our Global Audit team as an Internal Auditor/Senior Internal Auditor.

We are completely flexible on remote working, so if you aren\'t looking to be based full-time in an office, we\'ve got you covered. Of course, there will be times that you will need to visit our offices for team or stakeholder meetings, therefore being within a relative commutable distance is needed.

Our Audit department is full of talented individuals with great experience within our business, which means that we are open to applications from Internal Auditors with different levels of experience, or people who have worked in Compliance or Risk and are looking to make that move into Internal Audit.

A role you will love

As one of our Internal Auditors, you will be primarily responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory audits alongside the annual audit plan.

As we said above, this role provides a lot of variety, and you will get the chance to work on internal audit assignments across the whole of the Computershare group.

You will be delivering high-quality, well controlled, independent, and objective audit execution, supported by comprehensive audit files.

In this role you will be working with senior stakeholders from across the business, giving you the chance to build great working relationships and build your knowledge of the different departments in our organisation.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Risk-based Audit Planning that is focussed on protecting and enhancing the value of the businesses Computershare and our clients.
  • Effective Audit Program Management to ensure the timely delivery of audit plans and mitigation of delivery obstacles.
  • Manage compliance with Computershare\'s (CPU) global policies, procedures and processes, including CPU Internal Audit methodology.
What will you bring to the role?

You will be a collaborative individual with great attention to detail. Building relationships with a variety of stakeholders will be an important part of this role, so you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with people in a variety of departments. The ability to gather and analyse data will be a skill of yours, with the ability to present this in an easily understandable way.

Some other key skills that you\'ll have:
  • Experience within an Internal Audit role or experience within a Compliance or Risk function
  • Working knowledge of risk management principles and processes
  • Financial services experience is highly advantageous
  • A professional audit, accounting or business qualification is also highly advantageous
