Senior B2B Marketing Manager - Creative & Content

We're looking for a

rare

breed: a commercially-minded creative who lives at the intersection of design and B2B marketing.

We're reimagining how clinicians manage patient care through digital pathways, and we need someone who can design a campaign asset in the morning and present a strategy to leadership in the afternoon.

This role is circa 70% hands-on creative production (design, video, animated graphics, copy) and 30% sales enablement and strategy. You'll own our visual identity, create assets that drive measurable business outcomes, and work directly with clinical teams and Isla's growth and product functions to sharpen messaging and shape how healthcare professionals understand the difference our platform makes.

You're our ideal candidate if you have design training or a strong creative background, but you've spent years in B2B marketing, working with sales teams, understanding buyer psychology, and delivering commercial results. You care about craft AND conversion.

This isn't about perfecting one narrow skill; it's about bringing versatility, energy, and zeal to building our marketing function from the ground up.
----

About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll be the creative engine behind Isla's brand while acting as a strategic partner to sales and growth. This is a high-autonomy, hands-on role in a small, tight-knit team where:

One day, you're designing a pitch deck or editing a product video
The next time you're workshopping messaging with the sales team or presenting content strategy to executives
Every piece of creative you produce is tied to the pipeline, conversion, or brand positioning

You'll concept, design, produce, and deliver the content yourself (with the use of AI tools where appropriate to speed up production), and you'll thrive doing it.

---

What you'll do

Creative production

You'll be designing and producing creative assets. This isn't art directing someone else's work. You're the maker.
Motion/Video: Shoot, edit, and produce product demos, customer stories, and social media content (e.g., carousels)
Design: Create pitch decks, one-pagers, social graphics, web assets, and other creative materials
Brand development: Evolve Isla's visual identity while maintaining consistency across all touchpoints
Content formats: Experiment with new formats: motion graphics, infographics, interactive content (and latest tools)

Strategic copywriting and brand storytelling

Extract insights from clinical teams and customers to shape messaging
Write compelling copy across blogs, thought leadership, web pages, case studies, and email campaigns
Craft narratives that position Isla as the leader in digital healthcare pathways
Use AI tools strategically to accelerate ideation and production
Help to manage Isla's digital presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant channels

Sales enablement

Partner closely with sales to understand prospect pain points and Isla's USPs
Create collateral that converts: case studies, battle cards, demo decks, ROI frameworks
Test and validate messaging with real clients and NHS Trusts
Translate complex clinical value into clear, compelling stories that close deals
Support key sales moments, pitches, events, and proposals with standout creative assets

Strategy and leadership

Lead content strategy and ideation: identify gaps in how we showcase Isla's product, solutions, and real-world clinical and patient impact; then create the assets to fill them
Shape marketing priorities and contribute to Isla's growth strategy alongside the Marketing Director
Pioneer new channels, tools, and processes: test, learn, optimise
Stay ahead of B2B marketing, design, and content trends; bring fresh ideas that elevate how we communicate our value
Grow into a leadership role as the team expands, with high-visibility projects and potential people management

What we're looking for

Must-haves
Hands-on design and video creation skills: You can create professional-quality creative assets independently (basic motion videos, video editing, graphic design). Portfolio/examples required for both copy and creative assets (mandatory)
6+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally supporting sales teams and contributing to pipeline growth
Creative and commercial balance: Your work is beautiful AND it drives business outcomes
Content versatility: Able to write structured, insight-driven copy across formats
Self-starter with exceptional standards: Proactive, detail-obsessed, and takes pride in exceeding expectations
Comfortable with ambiguity: Thrive in fast-paced environments where you balance structure and agility
Team player: Excel in small teams, support colleagues, and lead projects with professionalism

Big pluses
Design training (degree, diploma, or equivalent formal training)
Healthcare or NHS marketing experience
Experience in both startup/agency and corporate environments
Strong interest in art, design trends, and visual culture
Experience with SEO strategy
PR or media relations experience
Tools we use: Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Descript, Gamma, HubSpot, WordPress, AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)

Your mindset
Thrive at pace: Energised by the fast-moving rhythm of a startup
Go the extra mile: Flexible, adaptable, and proactive, you think beyond the job description
Stay current: Follow B2B marketing and design trends, experiment with new tools, and bring fresh ideas
Bring energy: Your enthusiasm is infectious; you create momentum through positivity and action
Own outcomes: Commercially driven; you measure success by impact, not just output
Hungry to learn: Constantly improving your craft while expanding your strategic thinking

Why Isla?

This is more than a job. It's a chance to:
Own your craft end-to-end: No endless feedback loops or agency dependencies, you concept, create, and ship
Shape a marketing function: Build processes, pioneer channels, and define how we show up as a brand
Make a real impact: Transform how healthcare professionals deliver patient care
Grow fast: Take on strategic responsibilities and leadership opportunities as we scale.
