Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Backend Engineer at QOVES located in the Central London Area, United Kingdom. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for building and expanding our existing back-end systems, written primarily in Django and Fast-API, while integrating with other microservices across the company. There will be times you will have to think about system architecture, devops and security while keeping a clear focus on our business goals.

Qualifications

Built and scaled APIs

used by thousands or millions of users

Experience with FastAPI and Django.

Strong database skills

(Postgres, Redis, caching layers)

Designed backend architecture

from scratch (not just maintained someone else's) Experience with

asynchronous task queues

(e.g., Celery) Comfortable with

Docker, AWS/GCP

Pay: 60,000.00-120,000.00 per year
