We are currently recruiting a Senior Banking Analyst to working with our Finance team, based at our Head Office in Wootton, Bedfordshire, MK43 9EJ.



As a Senior Banking Analyst you will be responsible for performing a variety of banking duties and financial administration, as well as reconciling bank accounts against Copart's own internal accounting records and investigating any exceptions which arise from this.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Solely manage Ireland accounts and select high-value accounts previously handled by the supervisor, ensuring full reconciliation and SOX compliance. Prepare and submit weekly cashflow reports to senior leadership with supporting documentation. Maintain and reconcile UK and Ireland bank accounts, including Copart direct reconciliations and Yard UK accounts. Prepare journal entries in JD Edwards for adjustments and write-offs; ensure accurate period-end reconciliations across CAS, JD Edwards, and online banking platforms. Administer banking systems (Barclays.net, Precision Pay, EPDQ, Barclaycard), including user setup, credit limits, and query resolution. Oversee banking admin tasks such as cheque management, direct debits, stop requests, and template setups. Provide guidance to yards on banking queries and assist with exception handling and deposit issues. Support the Banking Supervisor in projects, testing, and act as point of contact during their absence. Assist with month-end reporting, audit preparation (including SOX), and identify opportunities for process improvement.
