Senior Bookkeeper

Bangor, NIR, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you looking for a role where your bookkeeping expertise genuinely helps clients feel more in control of their business? Would you like to work closely with a supportive team, feel valued for the quality of your work and enjoy a workplace that believes in balance as well as ambition?

If so, this opportunity could be ideal.

You'll join a team where you feel inspired, appreciated and encouraged to develop. You'll get support with any training you need, and you won't be asked to complete timesheets in six minute units.

We offer flexible working because life outside work matters. Our office is based in the 'Gold Coast' area of Bangor, with refreshing sea air, a lovely park nearby and one of Bangor's best cafes right on the doorstep.

All of our systems are modern, cloud based and designed to make your work smoother. You'll get full training on everything, including Client Engager, so you can work efficiently without spreadsheets or notes scattered about.

Your salary will depend on experience and we are flexible on hours. You'll receive 30 days of holiday in your first year including bank holidays, with extra days added for each year you stay with us.

You won't be expected to spend your Christmas working. We plan ahead so our team can enjoy the break. All training costs and professional subscriptions are covered, and once you pass probation you'll join our sickness insurance scheme, which provides 75 percent of your pay for up to two years if you ever experience long term illness.
