B & K Williams is a family run business based on the outskirts of Caernarfon. We have been established for nearly 40 years and continue to grow year on year. An exciting opportunity has become available to join our friendly team.
We are looking for a skilled Senior Book keeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Duties include working closely with the director and sales team to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.
Experience and knowledge of working with SAGE online accounting software and Payroll.
Weekly wages using SAGE Payroll
Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure.
Paying supplier invoices and tracking bank account balances monthly.
Completing VAT returns
Helping the accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts.
Helping front of house to deal with customers if they are busy
Reconsiling the bank on a daily basis
Education and Experience required
Minimum GCSE qualifications
Desirable to have AAT LEVEL 2 or BTEC, HNC, HND in accounting or finance
You will be have minimum of 2-3 years experience of working in a finance environment
