Our small in-house creative team produces a wide range of campaigns and content that form the backbone of the brand's storytelling reputation. As the Senior Brand Producer (Maternity contract), you will be responsible for the production and management of all commercial and content campaigns working alongside our in-house team as well as external creatives. You will also be managing and developing the Junior Producer as a direct report and closely collaborate with the Photography Studio Manager.
You will be an experienced Producer capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging external resources and knowledge to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality projects. This is a hands-on role that covers a wide range of projects, so you must be happy to get stuck into the details, have a creative solutions-focused mindset and embrace the nuances that come with capturing live sport and humans in motion. Travel will be required, and the role requires a confident and experienced driver.
This is a 9-month fixed term contract with a possibility to extend.
The Role
Responsible for producing all shoots across product categories including as Pro Team, Road, Gravel, MTB and Lifestyle - from pre production to final delivery:
Responsible for all onsite production on location photography and video shoots, acting as the central point of contact for crew, talent and staff.
Ownership of detailed risk assessments and on site health and safety management.
Work closely with Art Directors and the Head of Content to commission creative partners such as photographers, filmmakers and designers. You will be the point person for managing relationships with agents, drawing up contracts, negotiating rates and usage rights.
Support the creative team on location scouting, route planning, talent research and casting across projects and shoots.
Building out campaign budgets according to the brief and the creative response.
Oversee the delivery of all product samples for shoots. Liaise with clubhouses and the merchandising team to ensure sufficient kit is ordered.
Responsible for hiring and managing freelance production support when required.
Manage and catalogue usage requests of images and video across the business.
Confidently own and manage the Brand Creative budget for the year, working with the Creative Director and Chief Brand Officer on scoping, planning and assigning costs to projects - as well as tracking actuals for monthly Finance reviews.
Manage the yearly shoot calendar and work to ensure key delivery deadlines are hit across the department.
Project manage and plan shoots, events, and activations against the yearly Marketing Calendar ensuring Creative Director and Chief Brand Officer sign off on all plans, budget assignments and resource use.
Sourcing and licensing archive footage and images, ability to execute these independently of the creative team.
Competent management of Asana to set and track critical paths for all projects once a brief has been received.
The Candidate
What is required from you for the role:
Demonstrable experience as a Senior Producer in agency or in-house settings.
Ability to work across wide ranging budgets that flex from project to project.
Experience managing and developing junior producers.
A great negotiator, comfortable discussing legal contracts with a sound knowledge of crew and cast rates across the industry.
The ability to think positively and resourcefully when under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks, actions and delegate when required.
Comfortable managing and communicating with Heads of and C-suite stakeholders across the business.
Cool, calm demeanour with the assertiveness to manage full crews and cast when on a busy shoot set.
Understanding and enthusiasm for capturing content within the outdoor industry is highly desirable.
Ability and willingness to travel for work when required.
Confident and competent driver, both in the UK and abroad. A full UK driver's licence (or country equivalent) held for more than 5 years would be preferred.
First aid training or understanding that you must undertake training upon acceptance of the role.
Must be available to be working from Rapha Service Course in Archway, London for at least 4 days per week.
