Senior Builder

Location:

North West based, ideally around the Wirral area

Salary:

45,000 - 55,000, DOE + Benefits!

Contract:

Full time, Permanent

As a senior builder, you will be responsible for supporting with projects across several industrial sites in the North West (primarily in the Wirral Area, but not exclusively). The senior builder role involves construction building duties working alongside project managers and site supervisors ensuring our high standard of service and health and safety are maintained as well as leading communications into our clients on a daily basis. Projects may include civils work, fit-out projects, or engineering projects.

Success in the role of senior builder requires an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, flexibility for travel within the North West, excellent communication skills and a professional and positive work attitude. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Oversee and complete all day-to-day construction requirements to support a project on industrial sites Provide project oversight including planning, execution and completion Multi building trades including joinery, flooring, civils, brick and steel work Resource management Schedule and budget management Carry out construction tasks in an efficient and safe manner Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment and potential hazards Stakeholder management Provide thorough daily updates regarding progression of construction tasks

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous experience in similar role An ability to use initiative to achieve pro-active site construction/maintenance Building skills - joinery is essential, plumbing is preferred Good communication skills as this will be a client facing role Ability to work to deadlines Good organisational skills Work well as part of a team CSCS/SMSTS/SSSTS qualification required
