Go-Ahead is seeking a Senior Bus Scheduler to play a pivotal role in shaping our public transport networks across the UK. Key Responsibilities




Lead the scheduling and rostering of public transport networks using HASTUS, aligned with the Go-Ahead Way Analyse operational data to improve service efficiency and reliability Optimise route and timetable design to enhance patronage and operational performance Prepare network planning and scheduling documentation for tender submissions Apply advanced HASTUS functions to solve complex scheduling challenges Stay current with HASTUS updates, modules, and best practices Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client representatives to align service planning with operational realities

Knowledge and Experience




Minimum 3 years hands on HASTUS scheduling, or in another computerised scheduling solution such as the Omni Suite or Austrics. HASTUS experience is highly preferred. Skilled in data import/export, rule creation, and attribute management within HASTUS Experience with dashboard and data visualisation tools such as Power BI (preferred) Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Effective planning and organisational abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines under pressure Adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced, agile environment Self-motivated with a proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
