We are seeking a strategic Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, stakeholder management expertise, and a proven track record of delivering impactful business improvements. You will be responsible for analysing complex business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and working collaboratively with technical and business teams to implement effective solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across all organisational levels to understand business needs and objectives.
Analyse and document current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-driven improvements.
Create comprehensive business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Develop business cases and ROI analyses to support strategic decision-making and project prioritisation.
Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to align stakeholders and drive consensus on solution approaches.
Design and validate data models, process flows, and system integrations to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure successful implementation.
Conduct user acceptance testing coordination and support change management activities for new implementations.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on process optimisation and technology enablement.
Requirements
Proven experience in business analysis within technology-driven environments, preferably in product or professional services.
Advanced proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques and business process modelling (BPMN, UML).
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or business intelligence tools.
Excellent stakeholder management abilities with demonstrated success managing competing priorities and expectations.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with data visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau) for creating insights and reporting.
Understanding of system integration patterns and API concepts is advantageous.
Knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis is highly desirable.
Professional qualification such as BCS, IIBA (CBAP), or Agile BA certification is beneficial.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to see the bigger strategic picture.
