IN SHORT

Based within the SM&T London Office, the Senior BA will work within the Middle & Office Back Office (MOBO), reporting into the Lead BA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, you will act as a senior liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all phases of delivery. The successful candidate will be able to influence and advise stakeholders on prioritisation decisions, balancing business objectives with technical feasibility. Key responsibilities also include identifying, documenting, and analysing business requirements to support the development of fit-for-purpose solutions.




Gathering and reviewing business and industry data. Assessing and identifying areas for improvement in business processes. Evaluating new IT developments and contemporary business practices. Building knowledge of industry and how this is applied within the business, as well as building knowledge of the trading systems used to support the business within vertical as well as cross vertical. Understanding an developing how new IT concepts are implemented within vertical and their impacts. Leading prioritisation meetings Mentoring junior members of the team

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Proven track record in applying Business Analysis techniques to solve problems. Experience of documenting as-is and to-be business processes. Experience managing complex and sometimes competing stakeholder demand. Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate with stakeholders. Demonstrate credibility with working with business colleagues including the ability to provide appropriate challenge and review to requirements. Performing system/integration testing and supporting business users with user acceptance testing. Functional Specification and configuration of commercial software packages as well as functional specification of custom developed software.
