. You'll play a key role in driving digital transformation projects, leading workshops, analysing business processes, and supporting the delivery of technical solutions that improve client outcomes.

The position is hybrid working, 3 days a week on client site.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support business analysis activities across a range of digital Rail projects.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture, define, and refine business requirements.
Document and analyse current processes, identify future-state improvements and design end-to-end process models.
Provide mentoring and support to junior analysts
Support data capture, validation, and analysis to inform business decisions.
Collaborate with Data Analysts to develop, interpret, and apply model outputs for decision-making.
Develop detailed functional and non-functional specifications to support solution delivery.
Work closely with project managers and technical teams to design and implement digital solutions.
Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing, pitch presentations, and client engagement.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a
Business Analyst
, ideally within the
Rail
or broader Infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of
business analysis methodologies
, requirements management, and process improvement.
Experience working in
Agile and/or Waterfall
project environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to client cultures and environments.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g.
Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, SharePoint, MS Project
).
Familiarity with digital transformation within the
public sector
(desirable).
Ability to gather, review, and analyse data such as KPIs, financial reports, and performance metrics.
Degree in an analytical discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Business Analysis qualifications (e.g.
BCS
,
IIBA
) advantageous.
