A Senior Business Development Manager with both technical and commercial focus, and a proven ability to nurture relevant industry networks

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will
Source and win net new brands (as per our ICP) to join the Tillo portfolio
+ With a focus on securing brands with strong retail presence in some our key markets across UK & Europe Identify new sales and revenue opportunities across the retail and payments industry
Build and nurture relationships with key industry networks to maintain inbound referrals
Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions in our key markets (UK, USA, Europe) and communicate new developments and changes to prospective and current clients
Identify and attend conferences and exhibitions in order to network with prospective clients and assess how Tillo can use these events to their advantage in the future
Develop and apply commercial modelling and forecasting to assess the value of new opportunities, ensuring proposals are commercially viable and aligned to Tillo's growth strategy
Lead negotiations with prospective partners to secure commercially advantageous agreements that drive sustainable revenue growth
Report into the Head of Retail Partnerships and ensuring they are updated regularly on progress to report back to the wider Tillo Senior Leadership Team on a weekly basis
What we're looking for

Proven success in consultative business development
Strong networking abilities, with experience attending and leveraging industry events
Proficiency in using CRM tools like HubSpot
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships
A strategic mindset with the ability to think on the spot
A self-motivated and proactive approach, able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
Commercial acumen and confidence liaising and negotiating at all levels
It's not essential, but we'd love to hear about it if you have experience with:
The gift card industry
Selling to brands/retailers
Working in additional languages (German & French especially)
