Our Apprenticeship division is experiencing significant growth, and we are seeking an accomplished and proactive individual with a strong track record in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and initiative to successfully identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES
Deliver start targets aligned with our overall growth strategy.
Carry out training needs analysis to identify the best options that meet the client's needs and objectives, including mapping apprenticeship standards, Employability, and AEB programmes to relevant training requirements.
Mobilise new business opportunities and ensure a smooth transition over to the Key Account or Serviced Account team.
Contribute to the development of the marketing strategy for employers, supporting plans for growth and maximising income from Levy-paying employers and strategic employer partners.
Conduct targeted outreach campaigns utilising LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email marketing, and follow-up strategies to engage with B2B leads generated by our call centre and website, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities for business growth.
Contribute to research to identify new areas of employer need and new products and markets, helping to shape our future strategy.
Establish and maintain our reputation as a customer focussed provider by building strong relationships with employers and other key stakeholders such as public sector bodies and referral partners.
Obtain employer contracts and lead on contract negotiations with the support of the wider team.
Contribute to our positioning to be able to respond to changes in the Levy apprenticeship funding model and develop a fully costed apprenticeship management and delivery model(s).
Be present at networking events, specific to your sector.
Represent us on various advisory bodies and business forums.
Implement and comply with the Company's Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety Policies
Undertake such duties as may be required commensurate with the level of responsibility and nature of the job in discussion with your line manager
Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours

Essentia Criteria
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience of successful business development (flexible to consider whether this has been in the FE sector or the subject specialism - ie. Digital, Care or Logistics)
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Knowledge of the FE sector and funding streams in particular apprenticeships
Knowledge of Levy funding
Excellent communicator and skilled at selling to stakeholders at all levels
Tenacious and resilient to knockbacks
Ability to negotiate with employers effectively
Strategic thinker capable of simplifying complex propositions for pitches
Proficient in aligning products with customer business objectives
