Job Description


As an integral member of the Management Team, this is a key role to successfully formulate, lead and deliver the sales strategy for Arc. With hands on experience of selling temporary staffing services and/or managed serviced solutions, you will demonstrate the ability to gain new business, analyse trends and identify opportunities to maximise sales revenue and operating profit by finding the perfect solution for Arc\'s clients. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate success with selling temporary staffing solutions in areas such as Stadia and Events, Festivals, Contract Catering Venues. You will develop long lasting, sustainable stakeholder relationships based on honesty and trust in line with Arc\'s company values with the desire to effectively sell Arc\'s vision in their drive to shape flexible work into a better place for all.

This is a permanent role, working full-time hours (5 days out of 7) - 40 hours per week. As we work at some of the best events in the UK, weekend work is required, as are occasional early starts and late finishes. We are looking for someone who is based in the Northwest and can commute to our Manchester or Liverpool Office.

Main area of responsibility

  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial and the Senior Leadership team to define and deliver Arc\'s sales strategy within a range of different sectors with the aim to secure new business opportunities and sales leads with prospective and existing clients.
  • Continuously monitor and adapt Arc\'s sales strategy in line with key market trends, keeping our company competitive and innovative.
  • Plan and deliver the daily, weekly and monthly sales activity across different sectors
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure all communication to prospective clients is relevant and in line with company brand standards, ensuring company values and vision are embedded into all relevant content.
  • Work closely with the Associate Finance Director and Finance team to compile strategic sales forecasts for the generation of new business.
  • Partner with other Heads of Departments, providing regular updates and new ideas to drive the overall strategic direction for the company.
  • Effectively manage and deliver the end-to-end sales process, with full responsibility of negotiating and closing deals on all major accounts.
  • Train others to sell and lead nurturing experience, ensuring each employee and department understands the value of sales activity and how they can contribute.
  • Help to guide the People Operations team who will also be conducting sales activity.
  • Attend relevant networking events that could assist in winning new work and promote the Arc brand with potential new clients.
  • Facilitate continuous conversations with new and existing clients, attending client meetings where appropriate and seeking out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
  • Full awareness of new and existing services and products that can be up sold and cross sold to clients.
  • Have a regular presence on all of Arc\'s social media channels, actively following and engaging with current and potential clients connecting with and inviting potential clients to follow Arc pages on LinkedIn.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to generate and nurture leads on all marketing channels.
  • First point of contact for any new partnerships continually managing ongoing relationships until the client is 100% comfortable with being passed over to our operations team
