Senior Buyer



We are partnering with a leading FMCG company who connect global brands with consumers across the UK and Ireland to recruit for a Senior Buyer (Replenishment) . The role is office based in Belfast, you will be working closely with their client base across Europe and the UK. There is a hybrid working model for this position.

This is a newly created Senior Leadership role. The Senior Buyer will work closely with the COO to forecast and anticipate business needs and ensure there is a robust strategy in place.

The Senior Buyer will be responsible for:



Leading end to end replenishment and demand planning to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient product availability.

Acting as the key link between partners, purchasing, and warehouse operations to support strong commercial and operational outcomes.

Analysing forecasts, sales trends, seasonal shifts, promotions, and demand signals to optimise inventory and protect working capital.

Managing, coaching, and developing a small team of staff

Overseeing supplier communication, inventory parameters, forecasting accuracy, and replenishment processes.

Providing accurate forecasting and operational insights as the primary contact for major brand demand-planning teams.

Setting and maintaining safety-stock levels, reorder points, replenishment triggers, and ensuring accurate setup of new brands and products.

Collaborating with senior leadership, brand/trading teams, marketing, and logistics partners to support service levels and operational efficiency.

What you will need to have for the Senior Buyer role:



3 -5 years' experience in replenishment, demand planning, or supply chain management within FMCG or distribution environments.

Proven capability in managing forecasts, inventory performance, and supplier/brand relationships.

Strong analytical ability with confidence interpreting and acting on complex data insights.

Advanced ERP and Excel skills; experience with Microsoft

Demonstrated leadership experience, including developing and guiding high-performing teams.

Strong commercial awareness with a solid understanding of how stock flow influences cash, margin, and service levels.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
