In this role you will manage the strategic sourcing and tender process across IT categories, these include software, hardware, services, systems / and web applications. You will be supported a report into the Category Manager - IT. The role will involve end-to-end procurement process including strategic sourcing activity, tenders, negotiations, supplier development, supplier onboarding and contract management.

Senior Buyer Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process and implementing strategic sourcing activities that deliver on cost savings, quality, risk & sustainability.
• Managing multiple IT category Sourcing projects simultaneously.
• Supporting the Senior Category Manager and Category Manager with the implementation of sourcing plans, ensuring that they are delivered in with agreed targets and objectives.
• Responsible for defining Sourcing Strategic and leading the Sourcing processes and onboarding suppliers.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFS/RFQ\xe2\x80\x99s for the business and within projects with respect to the provision of your category.
• Plan, manage and deliver negotiations with suppliers, incorporating appropriate contractual arrangements.

Ideally you should have:

• Previous experience of indirect procurement is essential within IT.
• Contractual terms and conditions and SOWs, and able to craft structured agreements with legal and stakeholder input.
• Developing Sourcing Strategies and lead the Sourcing tender process through to Contract award.
• Develop negotiation plans with clarity of desired outcomes, leveraging stakeholder input and support where appropriate.
• Understanding of supplier\xe2\x80\x99s position, desired outcomes, and leverage points
• Degree qualified or relevant professional qualifications (CIPS) is desirable.
• Demonstrable commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
