Ascend Airways operate a small fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market and opened its first operational base at London Gatwick in early 2024.

We are seeking Senior Cabin Crew Members who excel in delivering outstanding customer service and crafting unforgettable experiences for our valued customers.
Reporting to the Head of Cabin Services, this role requires complete flexibility as it will involve different types of flying, including a possibility of operating away from base during the winter, meaning periods of time away from home. for example, spending weeks at a time in the Middle East.
As a Senior Cabin Crew member, you will take on a leadership role, ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction of passengers while leading and supporting your cabin crew team. You will be the go-to person onboard, managing the team effectively and fostering a positive, professional, and customer-focused environment. We are looking for individuals with proven ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire Cabin Crew teams both on and off the aircraft
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the cabin crew team during flights, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing passenger needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Conduct pre-flight briefings, delegating tasks and communicating key information to the team.
Ensure compliance with airline policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Act as the point of contact between the flight crew and cabin crew during flights.
Provide mentorship and guidance to cabin crew members, supporting their development.
Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew in compliance with aviation regulations.
Provide outstanding customer service, addressing passenger needs and requests.
Conduct safety demonstrations and assist passengers during boarding and disembarkation.
Serve food and beverages, and sell duty-free products during the flight.
Handle passenger and crew member enquiries, resolve issues promptly with a calm and professional approach.
Representing Ascend Airways, delivering a positive and memorable experience for all passengers.
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months service as an 'in charge' Senior Cabin crew member.
Hold a valid UK CAA Cabin Crew Attestation.
Hold a Valid UK Cabin Crew Medical / Meet the requirements to obtain one
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Knowledge of additional languages is desirable
Ability and confidence to swim (25 meters unassisted)
Knowledge of medical first aid (updated medical training will be provided by Ascend Airways)
Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Hold a valid passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide
Be over the age of 18 at the time of application
Ability to hold an airside pass
