Here at Westlands Care Home we have a wonderful opportunity to join our friendly team.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant/Team leader to support our residents and lead a team of carers . You should ideally have level 3 diploma in care plus experience of working at a senior level . You will be required to lead your shift and provide an excellent service within all aspects of daily care to our elderly clients. You will also lead by example to the care staff you manage.

Each shift is different and could include providing personal care, helping with activities , or just being a friendly face to chat to .

There will be some flexibility in the days worked and overtime will be available to cover holidays and sickness.

This role will include weekend working on rotation and on call duties

We are looking for someone that would be dedicated to delivering high quality person centred care to our residents in a warm, caring, homely environment but will also be able to support and lead a team efficiently .

The individual applying should have the following qualities to bring to the role:

People skills Motivation Enthusiasm Compassion Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant Client group Ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands , prioritise tasks Experience in administrating medication.
Experience in the Care Industry is essential along with a level 3 Diploma /NVQ or the equivalent.

Please note any hours worked over your contracted hours will be enhanced by 3.00 per hour.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.35-14.35 per hour

providing care: 1 year (preferred) supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
