Purpose
To deliver first-class, compliant homecare every day and act as the operational lead for new geographic areas--coaching field teams, safeguarding quality and mobilising services--so the organisation grows safely and sustainably while you develop towards managerial responsibility.
Core Responsibilities
Policy & Compliance Support
Support the Registered Manager in implementing policies, procedures and business objectives.
Shadow the RM on safeguarding notifications and deputise during annual leave.
Area Mobilisation
o
Work with Board Management to mobilise new service areas, covering recruitment and ongoing service monitoring.
Care Planning & Delivery
Oversee the end?to?end care?plan cycle, ensuring timely, person?centred delivery of services in line with client needs.
Collaborate with HR to oversee competency checks and uphold high?quality care standards.
Leadership & Staff Development
Lead and mentor Field Supervisors & Coordinators, providing training, supervision, appraisals and mentoring.
Conduct quarterly observations of Field Supervisors and weekly audits of their files, delivering coaching and feedback.
Manage and escalate staff concerns, working with the RM as required.
Quality Improvement & Governance
Partner with the Governance & Safeguarding Lead to implement service improvements and report actions to the Board, Quality team and RM.
Run improvement projects, create training programmes and present outcomes to Management.
Stakeholder & Service?User Relations

Build strong relationships with service users and families; conduct welfare visits following emergencies or concerns when the G&S Lead is unavailable.
Attend local?authority meetings, welfare forums and peer?to?peer agency meetings as needed.
Records & Continuous Professional Development

Maintain accurate records, including care notes, risk assessments and service?user files.
Demonstrate commitment to CPD, proactively identifying and proposing opportunities for personal growth.
Person Specification
Essential
Diploma Level?4 in Health & Social Care or working towards (ready to commence Level?5)
2?+?years supervisory experience in domiciliary / home?care
Proven audit, safeguarding and field?coaching expertise
Confident user of e?rostering and digital care?planning systems
Strong coaching, communication and conflict?resolution skillso Full UK driving licence; able to travel / stay overnight when required
