Team Leader - Day Shift and Night Shift position



We are looking for 2 Team Leaders to join our small friendly care home for older people. Notwen House has recently been awarded 4 grades of Excellence in a recent Care Inspection and we are looking for 2 Team Leaders who have the passion and commitment to ensure we can continue to offer the highest standard of care.

Essential:

SVQ Level 3 in Care/ equivalent.

Excellent people management skills

Genuine interest and passion in working with vulnerable people

Excellent communication skills

Great time-keeper and reliable

Comfortable working shifts

Desirable:

Experience in a supervisory role in health or social care

Experience of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety procedures

About the role:



This is a full-time contract, circa 40 hours per week. Shifts will be discussed at interview stage. Rate of pay for Day Shift is 14.70 per hour and Night Shift is 13.90. We offer the opportunity to join our Company Pension Scheme and a Private Medical and Dental Plan.

You will report directly to the care manager and supervise the shift.

Supervising Care staff and coordinating the daily care of all residents.

Administrating medicine to residents in an accurate and timely manner.

Assisting with training of all new staff.

You will be assisting our residents with all aspects of their day to day life. Ability to provide help, support and attention where required.

Communicating with colleagues, health and social care professionals and residents families

Organising and helping with events, activities and entertainment for residents and families.

Maintaining records as required.

Always ensuring optimum resident and staff safety & wellbeing .

Pay: 13.90-14.70 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
