We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in Nottingham who are able to speak: English, Urdu, Punjabi which are essential for this role, as you'll mainly working with clients who primarily speak these languages.

Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Worker to join our team at Your Homecare Provider . As a Senior Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to individuals within their own homes, This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals

- Assist with mobility and transfers

- Monitor and record vital signs

- Assist with meal planning and preparation

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisors

-Helping other care workers in a similar role

- Clear Progression Routes

Skills:

- Experience in hourly care, homecare, settings is preferred

- Language skill, able to speak fluently in Urdu & Punjabi

- Ability to drive and transport individuals to appointments or activities

- Knowledge of adult care practices for individuals requiring care within their own home

- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages

- Compassionate and empathetic nature

- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful circumstances with patience

-Good Record Keeping & IT skills

-Commitment to attend induction training and on-going training as needed
