The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, the
Senior Support Worker / Senior Care Worker
plays a key leadership role within the staff team. You will advocate for the people we support, ensure the delivery of person-centred care, and guide your colleagues to perform their duties effectively and compassionately.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care
Promote person-centred approaches and advocate for individuals' needs
Support staff in their roles, ensuring best practice and compliance
Take responsibility for service areas during shifts
Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and external professionals
Uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of care
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a care setting
Ideally QCF Level 3 qualified (or Level 2 and working towards it)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good numeracy and literacy
Understanding of equal opportunities and how they impact care
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs
