We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Senior Carer you will play a vital role in overseeing the home in the absence of the Manager
Your responsibilities will encompass medication administration, clinical observations, care plan documentation, personal care tasks, supervision of staff team
Duties
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for any changes in condition.
Support residents with mobility and physical activities, including transfers using equipment provided
Assist with behaviour management strategies for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
Experience
Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or hospice care is preferred.
Familiarity with dementia care practices is advantageous.
Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
Experience working in a care home or nursing home environment is beneficial.
Training in medication administration and behaviour management techniques is an asset.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
