Job Description

We are seeking a

dedicated and reliable Senior Carer

to join our warm and friendly team at Nether Place Nursing Home, a well-established care home committed to providing exceptional, person-centred care to our residents. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties



Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents Leading by example and supervising care staff on shift Writing and updating care plans and risk assessments Liaising with healthcare professionals and family members Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including behaviour management strategies. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress. Support residents with dementia care, ensuring a safe environment

Skills



Experience in nursing home or similar care environments is highly desirable.

NVQ Level 3

in Health and Social Care (or working towards) Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare teams. A caring, patient and respectful approach to others Capability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
