We are seeking a compassionate senior carers to join our team and contribute to delivering high quality care. We have a full time position which could be job shared and also a temporary post to give support for maternity cover.
We are looking for a reliable and competent individuals to join our amazing team in a beautiful homely setting, which is recommended by many as an excellent home.
Key responsibilities will involve ensuring our residents continue to receive outstanding care.
To be responsible for the smooth running of a shift and supporting your team, administering medication, assist with the completion of care plans and liaising with GPs.
Ensuring the physical, emotional and personal care needs of the residents are maintained in a kind, caring, trustworthy and respectful manner; preserving dignity and self-respect at all times.
Monitoring the wellness of the residents and report and changes.
Assist with the care needs of the residents, this will involve supporitng with personal care and personal support.
Promote dignity, choice and independence at all times in a caring, trustworthy and respectful manner.
Supporting junior care staff ensuring best practices are followed.
Taking and giving handover at the start and end of the shift.
Shifts available worked over a 7 night period over 3 / 4 nights per week 21:00 - 07:30
Requirements:
Previous experience in care preferably at senior level
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care preferred.
Medication administration experience.
Compassion, patience and dedication to enhancing the lives of the residents.
Strong leadership amd communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
Have a right to work in the UK.
