Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and fostering a warm, caring atmosphere. Duties

Assist residents with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring safety at all times Administer medication as per care plans and document accordingly Engage residents in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being Prepare and serve meals, accommodating dietary requirements Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members Supervise and support junior staff. Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update and implement personalised care plans Utilise IT systems for documentation, scheduling, and communication purposes

Qualifications

Experience working in a care home or senior care setting is highly desirable Supervising experience or leadership skills within a caregiving environment desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt care approaches accordingly Compassionate nature with excellent organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a demanding environment

Pay: 13.60 per hour
