Dynamic Social Support provides Home Care Services in the North Leeds area. We deliver a high standard of care and support to adults, some of whom are elderly and may have dementia.

Shift Pattern:

07:00 - 14:00 & 16:00 - 22:00

Days required to work over a two week period:

Week 1

: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday

Week 2

: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

LS19, LS20 & LS21

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:

To ensure that all service users consistently receive care that is person focused and promotes health and well being.

To lead by example in the delivery of support and care that promotes quality, respect, dignity, independence and choice for every service user.

MAIN DUTIES:

Maintain a positive relationship between clients and the care team

To support your colleagues ensuring a harmonious working environment

To maintain the weekly working rotas

Support the Registered Manager and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams

To meet with potential clients to establish individual care needs and agree a package of care that meets their needs

To regularly review our care services to ensure clients needs continue to be met

To work hands on to assist the care team

Assisting with bathing/showering/strip wash/toileting

Assisting with dressing/undressing

Using manual handling equipment as specified

Keep accurate care records

Applying ointments/lotions/creams/eye drops/ear drops

Assisting with prescribed medication

Preparation of service users' meals

Safer handling of service users if required

Shopping, collection of prescriptions

Assisting with domestic tasks, i.e. washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting etc.

Full induction and training provided. All you need to have is a caring approach and to be open and honest.
