Type: Full Time - Alternate weekends



Salary: 13.00

The Role: Senior Care Assistant

As a Senior Care Assistant at Acacia Lodge Care Home, you'll take on a key leadership role within our care team. You'll be responsible for supporting our residents with personal care, administering medication safely, and mentoring care assistants - all while fostering a respectful, person-centered approach.

Your key responsibilities will include:



Leading and guiding care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care Providing hands-on personal care to residents, ensuring comfort and dignity Administering medications in line with best practices and individual care plans Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families Promoting a safe, warm, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home Carry out observations, venepuncture, management of Oxygen Supervising care team through appraisals and 1:1's. Ensuring key workers fulfil their responsibilities. Support the nurse in charge with care planning and resident of the day

What We're Looking For



While a qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is a plus, what matters most is your natural empathy, strong communication skills, and commitment to making a positive difference.
